Clean from forest to fiber.
Most "bamboo" clothing is bamboo viscose — made with harsh chemical processes that generate toxic discharge. Tanboocel® is different. Produced through a patented closed-loop lyocell process where over 99% of solvents are recovered and reused. Nothing toxic escapes.
Every property — softness, breathability, antibacterial — comes from the plant itself, not from a lab.
Terry
Loop-pile construction creates a soft, absorbent texture from the bamboo fiber. Lightweight, breathable, and naturally moisture-wicking — ideal for warmer weather and active days without any synthetic treatment.

Why natural beats synthetic
Polyester traps heat and sheds microplastics. Bamboo regulates temperature naturally and biodegrades cleanly at end of life — because it is a plant, not a plastic.

Conventional cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive crops on earth. GOTS certified organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or herbicides — and that certification follows the fiber through every stage of production, not just the farm.
A fiber can start organic and arrive toxic if the processing stages aren't verified. GOTS closes that gap. Gets softer with every wash.

Why it gets better over time
Conventional cotton is treated with chemical softeners that wash out. GOTS organic cotton has none — the natural fiber opens with each wash, becoming softer over time. The longer you wear it, the better it feels.

Is every Allwear product free from harmful chemicals?
Yes. Every Allwear product is independently verified free from PFAS, BPA, synthetic pesticide residue, formaldehyde, and 100+ harmful substances — certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on every fabric.
Do you use polyester or nylon in any products?
No. Zero polyester. Zero nylon. Ever. Every garment is made from natural primary fibers — Tanboocel® Bamboo, GOTS Organic Cotton, or FSC TENCEL™ Modal.
Is elastane used, and is it safe?
Select products contain 5–8% BPA-free elastane — the lowest in the industry. OEKO-TEX certified and independently tested safe. Products that don't require stretch, like the Organic Sweat Shorts 2.0, contain zero elastane.
Are Allwear products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Every garment and every piece of packaging is 100% vegan and cruelty-free across our entire supply chain. No animal products. No exceptions.
What is Tanboocel® and how is it different from regular bamboo fabric?
Most bamboo clothing is bamboo viscose — produced using harsh chemical solvents that generate toxic waste. Tanboocel® uses a patented closed-loop lyocell process where 99%+ of solvents are recovered and reused. Nothing toxic escapes. OEKO-TEX and OCS certified.
Are the dyes non-toxic?
Yes. Every Allwear garment uses azo-free, non-toxic dyes — OEKO-TEX verified on every color. Conventional azo dyes can break down into carcinogenic compounds against skin. Ours cannot.
